Health Careers Camp

Health Careers Camp is a three day career introduction camp for any students entering grades 7-9 who are interested in a future in Health Occupations or are looking for exposure in the health/medical field. This camp wil include fun activities, job shadowing, college road trips, and tours of medical facilities, as well as hands on experience, not to mention CPR certification! Camp Infinity:

Camp Infinity introduces girls to computer and internet technologies through hands-on activities. Campers will study video game design concepts and robotics. In addition, students will participate in mini-sessions that highlight programming skills and real-world uses of technology. Campers will also get an opportunity to meet with women who work in technological fields and explore career options in technology. Shop Rats:

4-H Health and Food Science Camp

At the 4-H Health and Food Science Camp held at Michigan State University, youth will explore fields relating to health as well as participate in numerous hands-on learning activities. Game Design Camp

Multiple camps available for different levels and ages for learning game design. Throughout the week, students are engaged in the game design process, from the initial game ideation, storyboarding, and pitching to the iterative development process of prototyping, playtesting, and balancing. Students learn the process, tasks, and roles involved in game development, including programmer, artist, designer, and producer, while building their very own 3D video game. For more information, click Game Design.

Architectural Program

ArcStart is a three-week residential program that offers high school students the opportunity to experience the rewarding intensity of a college architecture studio. The Summer Entrepreneurship Institute will assist participants with an interest in business and entrepreneurship decide if this is a route they would like to pursue in college. The program will engage students in a series of life changing sessions, allowing them to get a feel for the field. The Business Management / Entrepreneurship Summer Workshop is a one-week program presented by the Oakland University School of Business Administration. A hands-on learning process will provide participants with the fundamentals of running a business, to hear guest speakers, attend field trips, create peer mentors and team projects, network and interact with current corporate leaders and entrepreneurs, and will show how important business skills are to achieve a lifetime of success. Future Physicians Summer Enrichment Program

The Future Physicians Summer Enrichment Program (FPSP) is a week and a half long program around biomedical sciences and human anatomy for high school students who have expressed interest in medicine and careers in health sciences. The purpose of the program is to give students a deeper understanding of medical issues, the multiple systems and processes of the human body, and how they are impacted by current social issues. Camp RN

This two week pre-college summer program designed to educate middle school students of the opportunities available through a nursing career. This inspiring and innovative, entertaining and educational camp exposes students to biology, chemistry and the mechanics of the nursing profession.
