Business and Marketing

Business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, and finance skills find application in every area of employment. Whether you are interested in retail sales, public accounting, financial industry, advertising, or starting your own business, these programs are for you. Successful business students are good communicators.

Business Management and Administration

Students learn the latest software and business principles necessary to run an office in a small or large business.

Marketing

Students focus on merchandising, retailing and advertising/promotion. Operation of a school store and working with marketing related situations provided by local businesses are part of the program.

School-based Enterprises

Students participating in these programs may get real-life experience in running a business by working in the school-based enterprise. This isn’t just a school store! Students develop marketing plans, implement business models, and operate entrepreneurial start-ups all without leaving the building. Brighton operates “The Paw”, Howell the “Kilt Shack”, Fowlerville the “Coliseum” and Hartland “The Eagles Roost”.

All three programs promote entrepreneurship through the development of business start-up plans and regular interaction with area business owners.
